CPR AED First Aid BLOODBORNE PATHOGENS Classes IN Dallas

DFW CPR Training Center offers CPR and First Aid classes in the Dallas and Fort Worth area. Our classes are designed for anyone who is required or would benefit from being CPR certified. We also have First Aid classes for adults, children and infants.

What will I learn from this class?

The AHA Heartsaver CPR and AED class will teach you how to effectively perform CPR and use an AED to help save a life. You will also learn how to respond and manage choking in adult, child and infant victims.
Who should take this class: Anybody who will most likely become early responders like parents, teachers, parents, lifeguards, airline personnel, security personnel, family members of sick individuals especially those with known heart problems, fitness instructors and those who just want to learn CPR. This class is also popular among people going through the process of adoption. It is also ideal for workplace training where having trained lay responders may prove invaluable for the safety of customers as well as employees.
Fee: $59.00

CHILD AND INFANT First Aid CPR & AED


What will I learn from this class? In addition to learning the basic techniques of CPR and using the AED if available, the AHA Heartsaver Pediatric First Aid CPR AED class will teach you how to quickly respond to some common illnesses such as seizures, nosebleeds as well as injuries in a child or infant in the first few minutes until professional help arrives.  Topics include First Aid Basics, Medical Emergencies, Injury Emergencies, and Environmental Emergencies.
Who should take this class? Parents, babysitters, daycare centers, child care workers, teachers, camp counselors, coaches for children's sports organizations, other guardians, those applying for adoption and those who need or just want to learn CPR, how to operate an AED, and perform First Aid.

ADULT FIRST AID CPR & AED
What will I learn from this class? In addition to the basic techniques of CPR and AED, the AHA Heartsaver Adult First Aid CPR AED class will teach you how to  respond to illness and injuries in an adult in the first few minutes until professional help arrives.  Topics include First Aid Basics, Medical Emergencies, Injury Emergencies, and Environmental Emergencies.
Who should take this class? Personal trainers, teachers, parents, lifeguards, airline personnel, corporate employees, factory workers, family members of sick patients especially those at high risk of a heart attack, other lay rescuers or those who need or just want to learn CPR, use an AED and learn how to render First Aid.

BLOODBORNE PATHOGENS
What will I learn from this class? The AHA Heartsaver Bloodborne Pathogens course teaches employees how to protect themselves and others from being exposed to blood or blood-containing materials. This course is designed to meet US Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) requirements for bloodborne pathogens training.
Who should take this class? This is designed specifically for workers with a reasonable chance of coming into contact with bloodborne pathogens such as correctional officers, childcare workers, security guards, maintenance workers, school personnel, hotel housekeepers, health and fitness club staff, and tattoo artists.
Fee: $20.00

FAMILY AND FRIENDS CPR
Just want to learn CPR without a need for CPR card? Try our Friends and Family CPR Class. This class is designed for the general public who are not required to be certified or do not need to receive a CPR card but will benefit from a CPR and AED training. Classes are offered by appointment only.
Fee: $30
